Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 puts plants on the offensive

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 Announce Trailer | E3 2015
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare was an immensely successful shooter experiment based on one of EA’s most popular franchises, attracting more than 6 million players across Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC. In Spring 2016, we’ll get the follow-up, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, and this time, the zombies are in control.

With the evil Dr. Zomboss taking control of Suburbia, the Plants are now on the attack for the first time in the series’ history. To defend their captured territory, the Zombies have several brand new character classes, including the small, aggressive Imp, Captain Deadbeard — the Zombies’ only sniper class — and SuperBrainz, a melee bruiser that takes out several Plants at once with a devastating spin attack. Even the smallest characters, however, are capable of very big things, with the gameplay demo at EA’s press conference showing the Imp calling down and climbing into a wind-up mechanical suit with a giant gatling gun.

EA also stated that cooperative play with Zombies was its most-requested feature following the launch of the original Garden Warfare, which only allowed Plants to fight off waves of Zombie invaders. The new Zombie co-op option, like the original, features “boss” enemies, including the Giga Torchwood, a lumbering (get it?), flaming tree. However the second most-requested feature for the new game was a solo option, and while Garden Warfare 2 won’t include a traditional campaign, the game will allow you to play offline — both alone and in split-screen — with AI allies and enemies across every game mode.

As was the case with Garden Warfare, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 will feature free content updates, and you can transfer your characters from the original game into the sequel as soon as it launches in spring of next year. Unlike the original, Garden Warfare 2 will arrive on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC at the same time.

Is Fallout 76 cross-platform?
fallout 76 nuclear winter cancelled cancel

We've all loved exploring the different regions of the wasteland in the Fallout seriesĀ alone, but it wasn't until Fallout 76 that we had the chance to do so with friends. While it wasn't quite what people were hoping for at launch, years of support have made this an excellent world to explore and go on quests with friends in. While most games released in recent years support cross-platform play between consoles, Fallout 76 came out before that was the standard. If you've got a group of friends playing on different systems, will you still be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the wasteland together? Here's what you need to know.
Is Fallout 76 cross-platform?
Fallout 76 does not support full cross-platform support. The only two platforms that can play on the same servers are Xbox and PC, but only in the case where PC players are accessing the game through Game Pass. If you are on a PlayStation console or bought the game on Steam, you will only be able to play with others on those respective platforms.

Considering how many years it's been since Fallout 76 launched, it is unlikely that cross-platform support will be added at this point. Should we be proven wrong, we will update this guide to reflect that.
