Along with a host of other product updates and launches, Apple’s is bringing a handful of improvements to the most popular MacBook Pro — the 13-inch model. One of the most notable changes is the reduction in size and weight. Apple has managed to make this new version only 0.75 inches thick, which is about 20 percent thinner than the previous model. As a result of this slimming down, the new laptops are also Apple’s lightest — weighing in at just 3.5 pounds.
The new 13-inch MacBook Pros will also come standard with 8GB of RAM, but the biggest improvement is definitely in the display. The new models will come with Apple’s highly-touted Retina display, which boasts a stunning level of clarity and pixel density. Basically, these displays have pixels packed so close together that your eyes aren’t capable of seeing any pixelation when you look at them — so graphics and text look really sharp.
