Colorful headphone-maker Urbanears announced today that it is releasing a new headphone style called the Plattan Plus ($TBA), which will be sold exclusively through Apple stores and online through Apple. The over-the-ear style headphones fold up to fist-size and feature 40-mm handmade drivers, a 3.5-mm stereo plug, and a tangle-resistant fabric cord. The headphones also feature the ZoundPlug, which allows a friend to plug in to your Urbanears headphones and listen to whatever tunes you are jamming to. The biggest difference between the original Plattan style and the newer design is an attached, Apple-certified microphone and remote that has the added feature of volume control. The new headphones will come in Cerise, Pool, Purple, and Dark Grey (as above) and will be available for purchase today throughout North America.

However, that should also be an indicator that we can expect some big changes for the next generation of iPad models, which are rumored to come out this year. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has even said that we could see new iPads as early as March.

Lunar New Year is on Saturday, February 10, 2024. This is the start of the new year based on the lunar calendar; this time, we are celebrating the Year of the Dragon, and 2024 is associated with the element of Wood. Essentially, this is the year of the Wood Dragon.

I’m a rabbit myself, but I’ve always been a fan of dragons — they're one of my favorite mythological creatures. According to the Chinese zodiac, those born in the year of the dragon are charismatic, intelligent, powerful, and naturally lucky or gifted. Definitely unique and one of a kind!

When you look at smartphones these days, the selection has grown a bit … stale, to say the least. You’ll see phones from top brands like Samsung, Apple, and even Google, but most options look the same — they’re glass slabs.
