The iconic iPod may have been on the back burner for some time, but on Wednesday Apple finally unveiled an all-new iPod Touch lineup. Sporting a larger, 4-inch screen (identical to the new iPhone 5), an improved camera with flash, and an optional wrist strap, this marks a serious attempt by Apple to position the iPod Touch squarely against consumer point-and-shoot devices.
As before, the new iPod Touch is Wi-Fi only, but it benefits from the upgraded dual-band antenna that allows for wireless speeds of up to 150mbps. Bundled with the new EarPod earphones, the iPod Touch comes in 32GB and 64GB versions, five new colors, and is available to order on September 14.
this new one looks very cool. clever little thing.
I think the iPod Touch actually got more upgrades than the iPhone, haha
That’s what I thought too. It looks pretty cool!
it looks same like iphone 4 the 5th is just thinner is it?
Um… what’s up with the “gains camera flash.” Last time I checked (about 15 seconds ago) my iPhone 4s has a flash.
Did the flash change? Yes. But you wouldn’t know it from this article.
And I eat my words. I miss read the headline.
The iPhone has had a flash since 4, but this is the first time the iPod Touch has had one.
haha your reply had me laughing.
might have one before the weekend.
