Seems mainly nominal, except for the 27" screen.

I haven't used one, but I wonder if this mouse will be harder on the wrist then a normal mouse.

Is it just me, or are these upgrades always nominal for the most part? Some nice hardware here, but for the money, would like to see more sweeping renovation. Magic Mouse is cool, though functionality has received lukewarm reception.

Love my iMac. I run dual boot with Windows 7 and Mac OSX on it. Runs 99% perfectly, Apple needs new bootcamp drivers for Windows 7 though. My iSight camera doesn't work in Windows 7 yet.

I wouldn't worry about the hardware, CPU technology has not improved too much, so that Quad Core should last for a while. Just get the best Vid card you can and as much RAM and you should be set. Oh, and that second mortgage to help pay for it! haha

The new 27 inch iMac is absolutely massive. I went and checked it out, you could hide behind it, and no one would be the wiser. It practically needs its own desk. It does have some pretty nice specs to go along with the pretty screen, it's almost nice enough to change my mind about all-in-one computers. I'm just weary of not being able to upgrade or replace my CPU and monitor separately...... does anyone have any good/bad stories to share?

The Magic Mouse seems like yet another Apple mouse blunder. Replace a perfectly functional TACTILE scroll ball with multitouch technology? Why, Steve Jobs? Why? The company can't get a simple thing right because they insist on redesigning it for form-before-function hipsters every few years. Eventually we'll end up with a white plastic orb you roll around on your desk to navigate, which Apple fans will line up to pay $300 and rave about.

Time to redesign the Mac mini already! The new Magic Mouse looks awesome and I would love a new 27-inch iMac (don't we all?)
