1976: Apple is founded

Toiling together in a Silicon Valley garage, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne found Apple Computer in April. The company’s first product, the Apple I, goes on sale in July of the same year for $666.66.

  1. jake5150 at 11:29am 26th August 2011 Rather you like Apple or not ( i don't) you have got to give the man credit for all he has done. From a garage in 1976 to where he is today. I do hate to see Jobs leave for the simple fact that he made other companys come with their A game if they were going to compete. And I beleive as a result you see some better and amazing products coming to market. I hope he gets a handle on the health issue and conquers it. Maybe in time we will see him again leading.
