Bought Turtle Beach DX11, I think they suck. The white noise levels are really distracting, tried watching a movie with them on but got so annoyed I had to stop. Taking them back asap.

Astro's are crap.. If you want the best. GO with the turtle beach x41's it does everyone you want.....

It's wireless.. No wireless interferance...

My 13tr old is very big into all the COD's an6d FSG's,and he wants more out of the games i guess an6d I would also like like to use the headphones to watch ripped movies from internet.Thank you all for the good advice.I think I'll go with the Turtle Beach X41

I have had 2 turtle beach x3s and one x31. All had problems. Whether it be with the batterys. Mic. Or speakers cracking. All within a year of buying them. And i kept them all in great shape. At first I loved them. Now just a waste a money.

I should also mention that with XJacker and SteelSeries adapters, you get game sounds and chat mixed in together through the headset, so it's a full-functioning XBOX headset.

Considering the general overall quality of XBOX 360 headsets, I decided to get a good PC gaming headset (Sennheiser PXC 250) and then use an XBOX headset adapter. It really doesn't take much actually. The easiest way is probably to buy a kit, like XJacker or SteelSeries. If you already have the parts, you can make your own. The best part about this, tho, is that I use my PC headset for Skype, Ventrilo, and PC gaming, so I get some good use out of them.

I personally use Astro headsets, I own a pair of A40's with the mix amp, its $250 but if your looking for an AMAZING headset and you have a job I'd recommend either A40's or A30's with the mix amp, especially if you LAN because you can connect the mix amps for closed circuit communication, which I recently figured out how to do, the astro's can also be used for PC gaming and on mobile devices, even if you don't get it with the mix amp they're still great headsets, and $100 cheaper without the mix amp, which is mainly for LAN'ing but its also just a nice thing to have while playing on live if you have an extra $100 just burning a hole in your pocket, turtle beach headsets are also great for the price, but if its the $200 turtle beach headset, I think the X41's VS, A30's, I'd have to say A30's hands down.

I have had the turtle beach X3's for almost a year now and love them. The sound quality is amazing and has really improved my game. I'm able to hear more things around me and respond to them faster. Not to mention how clear people sound over XBL. That being said ALL turtle beach products provide an improvement over the standard Microsoft headset.

I have a longer face and every headset I've had troubles getting a good fit on my ear and being able to use the microphone clearly. I am in the emergency services and use motorola products everyday and trust the brand. I just clicked on the link of the $35-40 for the x205 headset and to my surprise, the link took me to Amazon which is selling the headset for a mere 7.99 with free shipping, now THAT is a deal (and hopefully the headset works as good as the other motorla products I use too lol)

My brand new wireless xbox 360 headset would not take a charge or work right out of the plastic! It was given to me as a gift – so the xbox rep said he could write me a repair order, but because I had no receipt I'd more than likely get it back not repaired. Not to mention I'd have to pay to package and ship it. I decided to just go and buy my own replacement, and fortunately all the sales reps were honest gamers who advised against it. So I agree with Grossett above. I threw it in the garbage, and am a little closer to joining my friends on PS3. Not to mention I've had problems w/ my xbox 360 elite right out of the box, and had to send it in for repairs and it came back w/ new problems??? The customer does not seem to matter to microsoft, just your money by their actions.
