Panasonic HX-A500

We haven't had a chance to fully test this product yet, but we've assembled this helpful overview of relevant information on it.

Panasonic’s HX-A500 is a new entrant in the race of wearable action cameras. This lightweight camcorder is designed to have the main body of the recorder fit into an armband, while the lens is attached via cable and fitted over the users ear, resting on the cheek. However there is an optional multi-mount and clip system for mounting the lens on a helmet or hat. Waterproof up to a depth of 3 meters the HX-A500 can record 4K Ultra HD video at 30 frames per second, and record slow motion 240 frames per second video in 480p resolution. At a total weight of less than 6 ounces the main body still includes a 1.5″ display for setup and review of recording, or the device can be remotely controlled using the Panasonic Image app for iOS and Android devices.
