Chevrolet’s Sonic is replacing the Aveo which won’t be produced any longer. It’s not a fancy car but it supposed to be a comfortable, eco-friendly car. There are two versions of the Sonic the five-door hatchback and a four-door sedan version. It comes with a 1.4 litre engine very similar to the engine that is in the Chevy Cruze. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic with manual shifting mode. Chevy says that the Sonic should reach 40 mpgs highway. For those that are interested the Sonic will be assembled in the United States, specifically Lake Orion, Michigan.
