Audi has been on quite the roll as of late. Yesterday the German luxury automaker reported its best U.S January sales in its history. It would appear that 13 is a lucky number for Audi as it just so happens to be the 13th consecutive record-setting sales month the company has enjoyed. So with a swagger in its step, Audi is capitalizing on its momentum by announcing the sticker price for its sexy new R8 GT Spyder. And it isn’t cheap.
Roaring in at $210,000, Audi’s limited-edition beast will sport a 5.2-liter direct-injection V10 engine, tuned up to an impressive 560 horsepower. The R8 GT Spyder has also lost some weigh, 187 pounds to be exact, and can sprint to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 197 mph.
If you’re serious about trapping this Spyder in your web, you should probably act fast. Audi is only building 333 and of that number only allot 50 of them to the United States.
