I read a few years ago that the Prius batteries will not fall below 50% of re-charge-ability and that they were a perfect source of &quot;holding electricity&quot; after the car was dismantled. In theory, the batteries could be hooked to solar panels and used to run appliances and/or air conditioner at night or when there was no sun. I thought that was a great use for recycling of the Prius&#039; battery.]]></description>
