The only problem with that is the cost would still go up quite a bit especially if they used carbon fibers for the frame and wheels and aluminum might work pretty good but titanium is what I was thinking or an alloy of similar structure would be great too. Cost factors allow for an electric battery and gyroscope might also come into play when you've got only so much room to work with..

Lit's gyroscopic stability system has been tested extensively, and it really does work. The whole vehicle was basically built around this system, since without it, the vehicle couldn't be sold at all.

As with any EV, most of the weight in the C-1 comes from the battery. This one is smaller than most, but there is no such thing as a lightweight battery, and this entire vehicle weighs less than just the battery packs in some electric cars. As such, the use of carbon fiber wouldn't save very much weight but would inflate the already high price. That's not a very good trade off, and I'm not surprised they didn't use it.

I like the design, but its very impractical.
The wheels would have to Be much Wider and Flater on the bottom so it would stand upright (Feet cannot touch the ground to hold it upright.)
And why the hell does it weigh 800 lbs?! It could weigh a lot less and still be very strong. (Carbon Fiber Light and strong) (Plastics) (Higher strength Aluminum.)
