If you’re going to editorialize on a subject, at least get your facts straight. Minimizing it by stating it will be “bigger and heavier” than the current Miata that is already one of the lightest and best sports car platforms of all time, is just nonsense. But here is the real response that gets me,

“The RX-8 never even came close to living up to its predecessor, as it wasn’t really a pure sports car”.

Really? It’s apparent that you don’t attend many HPDE’s or local autocross events given the outgoing statement.

Make no mistake, this car is going to be the fastest sports car under 100k when it arrives. Believe me there are many people with their eye on this one.
