LG won further vindication for its sometimes-controversial passive 3D technology on Wednesday with the introduction of the 55LW9800, the first passive 3D TV to pass THX certification. But what does THX certification even entail? We asked THX’s John Dahl to explain a little bit more about how THX certification works, and how LG achieved it in the 55LW9800.
