You can MMS on iPhone 4. Not sure what you mean by only able to connect iPhone to Bluetooth.

You can connect Bluetooth head pieces, to Bluetooth in cars. etc.

I realy love my iPhone but I was kinda suprized that it lacks basic mobile recomendations such as
mms sending and retreiving , picture copying from the net and the Bluetooth only being able to connect to iPhones. Apart from that the apps and call quality is awesome.

i agree, the iphone is def the best smartphone out there. hands down. by far. i got mine from <a href="<a rel="nofollow" href="http://gsmallover.com"">http://gsmallover.com" rel="nofollow">gsmallover.com 2 years ago and i STILL don't want any other phone. i might upgrade to the 16g, but other than that i'm not interested in getting any other cell phone. i used to have a blackberry as well, and i definitely suggest iphone over blackberry. my parents prefer the blackberry for the same typing reasons though. i guess it's just a personal preference, but iphone has much more to offer, in my opinion!

I came from a blackberry to an iPhone. I hate typing on the iPhone. I'm constantly fat fingering when typing. With the blackberry I can actually type faster because I can feel the keys.

My typing has slowed down on the iPhone, even with autocorrection on.

Unless you use the phone on a daily you won't understand. It's night and day compared to what is out there. I recently got a new blackberry for work and I can't stand using it's archaic plastic keys or "features" (or lack thereof) after having an iPhone. I type 10 times better with the new phone...hell I don't even know I make mistakes with an iPhone. It has amazing precision. Also I find myself spending at least an hour or so a day using features other than the phone side...surfing craigslist, online shopping, checking email, watching my apple stock climb, texting my family, listening to music, snapping photos of my pets, making quick 3-way calls with friends, etc. All the while I leave my brand new blackberry alone on the table or in the car. I cannot wait until my company of 180K EEs start supporting it. Heck, I will pay for the phone out of my own pocket just to be able to get away from the blackberry. Given that the several executives have iPhones, it's just a matter of time. I did hear the IT department is in testing so that's very promising.

I wished that I had an iPhone after the first time I saw it in my friend's hand. I'm not able to purchase it now, but I hope that I have it in the future when I have the cash. I just want to say two words, that iPhone is really an aPhone and it truly deserves that name.
I love the iphone - it was my first smart phone and I honestly can't imagine using another smart phone. From the design, to the software, it's truly a great phone. For Apple to get so many things right on their first phone development is amazing - but not unexpected - It's awesome to see Apple shake up the world of cell phones and make the other manufacturers wake up and design better.

The iPhone 3G is a great smartphone. It's graphical interface is amazing almost life like, really pretty. The concept of the app store is the same as the widgets we use on the Mac and maybe Vista. It allows us the consumers to be free to chose what we need for our phones and not be stuck with customized software like for example Vcast. The app store is amazing for its wide variety of application software (apps) that it has to offer. These apps enhance the capabilities of the phone and we can either buy or get them for free. Imagine downloading one apps to stream news or to locate nearby businesses or even help you to locate exactly where you are and show you moving position in realtime. So much for those costly GPS systems. Apple really nailed the market, only this time its the telecom market. Palm used similar methods for their line of Treo brands but with the price being high for a lot of apps and the Os being buggy they never could survive hence their windows partnership. Apple seemed to have just stayed away from this market long enough to observe the ups and downs of a lot of these other smartphone companies. It really pays sometimes to not be the first eg Sonys PS3. The iPhone 3G is worth every penny and At&t seems to be realizing how important it is that's why their services have been dramatically improving especially call quality. I cannot imagine what else Apple has in store for us well maybe, a tablet based off of the iPhone touch screen.

I got my iPhone 3G a couple days after it was released, by chance. Every where near our house was sold out, but a local mall happened to still have them at their Apple store.

I never had a first gen. I refused to buy it until a 3G version came out.

Anyways, I love it. The iPhone apps totally make the phone as well. I love being able to listen to streaming music using Pandora. My wife loves the games. I'm happy it has built-in speakers so we can play music while we sit outside watching the kids or in the backyard bbq'ing.

The additional feature are the phone are enough for me (call reception, address book, email, etc), I just need to get used to typing on it.
