Internal Memory situation is bad. RAM is bad, not exactly future proof. Other than that this is the premier QWERTY phone and I love it. The mod community has been slow because the phone has been quite functional out of the box. I don’t see any other QWERTY phones on the horizon and with the same processor as the GS3 I am going to sit tight with it and get comfortable. The mod community is working on the phone and its getting better and better. Also wanted to note that it has received the Jelly Bean update and Motorola Smart Actions does a good job of conserving battery life under the battery saver setting. It has made a noticeable difference in JB vs the older ICS software.

I have it idling for about 8 hours and it dies. I have to turn it off way before that to keep it alive (just in case of an emergency or something) I like to have it on during those hours (while I’m at school) to check the time mostly, but I can’t. At first my screen was taking up 90% of the battery so now I have it almost all the way down and I set a smart action to turn it to the lowest while I’m at school… but now that is 30% of the battery and random other things use the rest. It said “phone” used 8% and “phone idle” used 18%… I didn’t call anyone and phone idle shouldn’t use so much.
I can’t figure out how to make it last longer. I haven’t even installed apps yet or anything like that so it should really last longer.
It also says I used the maps app and I didn’t even open that yet.
I’m going to try turning off the smart action thing and just silencing it myself.

Well this phone is pretty much a no-go. The drop calls/slow data at times(which was a problem with the original Photon wow) is a no, also the loss of battery while on Idle. %75 of us use our phone more than laptop so if this thing can’t last even half of the day with heavy use than it’s deff. a no go……..I’m always on the go or waiting somewhere so I don’t think this phone is for user that use their phone a lot………a 4 out of 10.

I love it overall, but the battery sucks.

the best Keyboard available… and the colors are bright and vivid, So far I love this phone.
