I JUST BOUGHT MY NEW SLVR L7 AND SO FAR AM SATISFIED WITH IT. ACCORTING TO THE REVIEW IT DOES’NT HAVE A PLACE FOR A LINARD, THATS WRONG. IT IS ON THE TOP RIGHT-HAND CORNER, AND FOR IT NOT HAVING COMMON APPS. SUCH AS:CALCULATOR, CALENDER, AND ALARM, THATS WRONG AS WELL.
FOR MYSELF, I WOULD HAVE TO SAY IT IS THE BEST MOTO. I HAVE COME ACCROSS. IN THE PAST MOTO. DID’NT HAVE GOOD APPS. AND WERE HARD TO USE. NOT THE CASE WITH THE SLVR L7.
IF YOU CAN GET PAST THE FACT THE BLUE TOOTH DOES’NT WORK DOUBLE AS HEADPHONES, THIS WILL BE A GOOD MULI-PURPOSE PHONE FOR YOU.

Well personally i think this phone is just ravishing. A delight. i feel underdressed to hold this work of art. The Motorola SLVR L7 is Fantastic darling. Its body is just perfect. And the buttons give me thrills as i run my fingers along them. Go on give this sexy little number a go.

All the atricle focused on was the itunes. Yea, it’s certainly no ipod, but that wasn’t motorola’s intent. Overall, I love the phone, but I’m worried it’ll scrath too easily. Of ourse you could just case it, but that sort of ruins the look of the phone, which is deff. a factor in why some people buy this handset.

I’ve had this phone for a little over three weeks now. A definite leap into the next century from the stone age LG 1500 I had first. It has everything I need, plus iTunes and a camera as well as video play back. Call quality is far better than anything I have ever used. I love this phone!

Like mentioned before, there is a calendar, alarm, etc. and you can lock the phone. Looks like someone didn’t read the manual ;-) They concentrated on the fact that it can only hold 100 songs, well that is a problem with the iTunes software, not the phone’s capability. You can download a 1,000 song replacement iTunes software for the phone allowing it to hold plenty of songs. Oh, and any phone in this style will scratch the screen etc. My last Sony was terrible when it came to that. That is why they have screen protectors.

Is the SLVR an iPod? NO! Can iPods make phone calls, play java games, take pictures, and record video all in one neat package for under $200? NOPE!

Great quality PHONE with lots of features. If you want an iPod, get an iPod. If you want a phone that doubles as an MP3 player and more, then get the SLVR.

I’ve had the phone for about 2 days now, after doing weeks upon weeks of research before spending the $129 (Best Buy, with a 2 year contract with Cingular) and i’m still suprised. It’s nice to get a mp3 player in your phone, less to carry around.

Pro – Mp3 player with 512 included storage. USB interface for everything. great support for custom wallpapers and custom ringtones (if you shell out the $30 for the software, it’s worth it)The screen on it is solid, i cannot scratch it with my finger nails no matter how hard i try. Plays music through speaker if no headphones are in.

Con – USB 1.1. Candy bar style. Low volume on the speaker phone and ear piece.

As far as a phone, it’s half decent.
As a mp3 player/something to dink around with for nerds, it’s pretty cool.

    Spend your money wisely.
But also remember you have 30 days to turn the phone back in for another one or drop the contract and phone all together without any fee.

So lets get this straight, it does have a calendar, alarm and calculator, does have a key lock feature and uses GPRS not EDGE. I think it’s time to find a more accurate article.

It’s a great mp3 player, however, when actually using it as a cell phone, you can hardly hear the person at the other end unless you put it on speaker phone or have a head set.

I’ve had two replacement phones for a noise the phone made after time, and both replacements had the same defect. It’s okay if you don’t have the ringer on.

Has anyone had the screen start flicking and almost lose the picture, along with the screen getting very bright and dim (almost white) so that you can barely see anything? Other than that I love this phone.

I have had this phone for about a year and I have had no problems at all. I love having my music with me all the time without having to carry a phone and an ipod. I haven’t had any problems at all with the phone and would recommend it to anyone.

l love this phone, just that the phone capacity is too small that you can’t assign more MP3 music to your contact list and more over is there anyway l can assign tones to my contact list from my memory card?

This phone works great. It is built well and has eliminated moving parts which I think hurts a phone like the razor and makes them break easier. You can lock the keypad. And buy a sleek case or screen protector pad to protect the screen. Mine doesn’t have one scratch on it and I have had it for a year

This phone is not worth your money! It is not very "soild" and doesn’t take to moisture very well. Never ever take it to the beach or pool! And if you live in a humid place I would not get this phone! It also doesn’t keep a charge for very long!!! It comes with NO applications! And if your a texter the keys are tough!!

I fell in love with this phone as soon as I had bought it in 07. I’ve heard bad reviews about this phone, but I still wanted to buy it just because it was pink; not very smart buying a phone only based on looks but all in all this phone has never given me problems. I never had a dropped call on this phone and I’ve even threw it across the concrete and it still worked properly after that. The one thing I didn’t care too much on this phone was texting because it hurt my fingers to text and there was not enough memory for me. Basically this phone is fabulous and I loved it. I use a Blackjack now and sometimes I’d rather use my old SLVR.

It’s a cool phone to have (well it was for me a 14 year old girl!)but its really inconvient. The microphone is so far away from the mouth that it’s almost impossible for anyone to understand you. After having it for a few months it started freezing up on me with the slightest bump. It’s also impossible to stick it in your pocket without it sticking out. the keypad does lock, you just have to press clear the *. But beware if you forget to lock it! It will call people without you knowing. One time I was at school and it called my mom and she heard me and my friends talking! I ended up selling this phone to my friend who now is somewhat resentful towards me lol.
