The xenon sucks. I have it and you will only have it for about 3 months then the screen will turn white. this is my 3rd phone in 9 months I hate it so much!

HORIIBLE PHONE.
Ive replaced it 3 times already in 2 years because it would freeze up so bad. The screen became permanently fuzzy and the sound quality was poor. I changed it 3 times for the same reasons everytime

I have personally went through 6 of the Impressions. All of them had the same issues, freezing, message initializing, keyboard issues, and touch screen issues. I loved the phone when I first got it. Completely hate it now. Finally got my service provider to get me a different phone! It only took 7 months and 6 different Impressions before they finally listened to me. I also have several friends who have the same phone and same issues. Would NEVER recommend buying it to anyone!

this is the worst phone you will ever purchase. i have to restart this piece of crap every day at least 5 times. a lot of the time i dont even recieve phone calls or messages.I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE this phone. my razor worked better than this i highly doubt i will ever purchase another samsung ever again. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE.

this phone is annoying cause you cannot see the damn screen in the sunlight! Also annoying when it says initiating messages and then it closes out and goes to the homescreen. I have to go thru that at least three times before I see my text messages.

I agree, I switched to an iPhone 3gs instead because that phone froze up so bad.

That would be great but when the screen freezes up you cant get into the main menu to fix the calibration!

I got my impressions in mis April and July 1 my screen froze. I tried taking the battery out (several times) even took sim card out thinking it might reset. I turned it off overnite and turned it on this morning to no avail, the screen is still froze up. I called warranty department yesterday and they are sending me a refurbished phone. After reading the other comments, I don't think I want another impression. I am sad to say that my wife has the same phone.

Avoid!! Loved this phone at first but now the touch screen is completely unresponsive. This means I cannot make calls or text, can only receive calls. It started working again when this first happened after I pressed hard on the back of the screen. Now it's stopped working again. Not good at all as this is my only phone. Am taking it in to a Support Centre tomorrow and will ask for a different model. Don't buy this phone!

I own this phone and I'm confused, you say it has windows mobile 6.1 but everything else I have read about phone says that it doesnt and that its a java OS phone.

I am having the same problems as others with the touch, won't work at all. ATT tried to help me over the phone and we did a reset, now I can't even use the keyboard to dial numbers. I am getting a replacment phone from an ATT warranty center, but I'm not looking forward to another one of these phones. I had problems with dropped calls also, I thought it was me – but it must be a phone gliche

I am very disatisfied with the impression. Considering I have only had it for 5 months, it is a piece of junk. The first couple of months the screen would randomly glitch and turn purple. I wasn't the only one having problems sending out text messages either. Apparently, after sending 31 texts, the phone can no longer send any more texts until it is restarted. Me being an avid texter, I was restarting my phone three or four times a day.. Finally, last night..every time i opened the Slider part, the screen would glitch as i opened it or barely even touched the slider part. As soon as I slide it open, the touch screen no longer works. What really sucks is that I dont have warranty, and I've always had a case on the phone; hardly EVER dropping it. I do not reccomend this phone AT ALL. Unless you want to experiance the same problems as me, I advise everyone greatly to not get this phone..

Yeah if half of your phone freezes, including the MENU. How do you even calibrate it?

This is a very good phone but as Tifani said they are many flaws

I expereinced all of those problems. my first phone just froze on me and i couldnt use the screen at all and i couldnt read my messages. So when that happened i called in amd asked for a new phone and when i got my new phone which was about 5 months ago, i am now experincing the same problems.

I seemed to notice it happens alot when people text alot.

OVERALL i hope they come out with a better versioin , because i really do love this phone.

I hate this phone! My screen freezes and I cant do anything! Also if it's not locked all the time and it's in your purse or pocket it calls people. So annoying! Will never buy a touch screen phone again!

have been on the phone with the AT&T provider. looks like this will result in a warranty issue having to replace the phone, hence loosing all my appt/calendar info. frustrating.

Have not had this phone long. It has all my appointments and important information stored in it and now the screen locks up and is unresponsive to the touch screen. have tried everything to reset but am so limited to what I can do and navigate since my 'options' are all accessed via the touch screen.

I am also have the same problem with it freezing and this is my 2nd on in under a month. I even called Samsung and all they told me to do was get another phone. Maybe because I text and use the real keyboad…not the virtual. I always have to restart. I used my blackberry from almost 2 years and I had VERY minor issues with it, the latest being fixed with a new battery because it was old. I passed it on to my kid but I want it back because it worked so great. I will NOT get another impression and I will do research on any other phone I ever purchase because of this!

My impression will slide open in my purse & unlock. then it will call the person whom I most recently called. All on its own. this is very frustrating and I wish I had been told the phone did this so I wouldn’t have purchased it.

the impression has many glicthes.Its very annoying to send messages, it has the same problems as the rest,it freezes when you send the message. and at&t wont even admett it.

it took me over 2 weeks for them to finally send a new one!

and when i got the new one it worked fine for a couple of days then did the same thing.

id have to turn it off and on five times a day just for it to work agian.

I've had three Impressions so far. I got my first in June, and had it replaced because some of the keys on the qwerty were sticking and double clicking. The replacement fixed this problem, but after a few months, I slid it open to text a message to someone and the screen went totally black. The touchscreen still worked (I could still click “send”, I just couldn't see anything). The screen still worked in vertical mode. I had it replaced the next day, with no questions from the AT&T folks. This phone has been perfectly fine so far, and even with the troubles I've had, I absolutely adore this phone. The qwerty has nice big lit up keys, the clarity for speaking on it is nice, and the bright screen is beautiful.

dude all u had to do to fix the touch screen issue was calibrate the screen. its easy to do and takes no time wat so ever. just go to ur settings and its in there

you are completely right! and after about 8 months… it gets even worse! mine is turning different colors and the touch screen isn't working and now i have to get another phone! this phone is NOT a phone i would recommend to ANYONE! it is horrible! and i didn't even get it wet… it just started to act like that… o and if you use the T9… it will freeze on you! so i say you do NOT buy this phone!
