I think this headset has all of the elements of what could be the best headset on the market…except for one thing. The boom is simply too short for almost any user. The mic is outstanding, if it is directly in front of your mouth. If it is not, people can’t hear you. Unfortunately, they did not make the flexible boom long enough to get the mic in front of your mouth. If they would have added either a mic boom that was 1.5 inches longer or one that could be stretched to the appropriate length, this would be the best headset on the market.

The only other thing missing is an in-line volume control, on/off and mute switch.

Great headset, but unless you have a very small head (like the head of a 100 lbs woman), its not going to fit you and people won’t be able to hear you.

I’ve tried several headsets. I got the Shure to upgrade the ear piece sound quality. The ear piece was very good, nice volume, comfortable, and clear sounding. Unfortunately I can’t use it cause virtually everyone I speak to says they can’t hear me. I do most my talking in my car so outside noise is minimal. Its a shame cause the ear piece is very good.

I love this earpiece. I have not trouble with it at all and use it as a preference over even the phone speaker itself. The only thing i’ve found i don’t like is when i’m out walking, the person i’m talking to gets a lot of noise if there is wind on my side. The boom reachs to within an inch of my mouth and everyone has said they can hear me fine.

I bought the Quietspot QHS3. If you can’t get the microphone to reach at least the corner of your mouth, then the listener can hardly hear you. I cannot get the boom to reach even the corner of my mouth without pulling it an holding it there. Once you do get it to reach, then you can drive with the window open and the listener cannot hear any outside noise. In summary if it fits you then it is fantastic. If you but this make sure it is from a place that you can return it.
