I tried this phone for 3 days before returning it. It’s just clunky to use and carry. There are loads of free phones about that have 3G+ and not a brick.

You’ll be sorry wasting your money on the Shadow II. It’s not worth any price. I wouldn’t pay five dollars for it, if someone had one for that price. I’ve had one for about three months now and have had nothing but trouble. The first one I had was sent back and they sent me a replacement which was no better than the first one. If you live out in the sticks and are hoping to have phone service uninterrupted, forget it. Don’t have a heart attack and expect to be able to call an ambulance. Really sketchy service at best. This phone is a junk. I’ve owned many, many phones in my life…this one is the bottom of the barrel out of everything I have ever owned. Speaker not loud enough, Qwerty keyboard is hard to get used to. I don’t think I will ever get used to it. Waste of money. My significant other works for T-Mobile and has had multiple discussions about this phone with the tech dept. No help there, he doesn’t recommend it either.

I was having some serious issues with an internal memory leak in my Blackberry Pearl 8100. I had to go through Blackberry support every time and went through 4 pearls(3 with-in a 90 day period) to finally get another phone and all they had as an equivalent was this phone. SNAP I hope it’s not all that bad.

I loved this phone when I first got it, but within about 9 months the screen started to have some serious issues. The lag has actually prevented me from not only answering calls when the ringer works, but has kept the ringer from making any noise at all so I have no IDEA someone is calling me. This is a sexy phone too, so I was extremely disappointed when I started having these problems. I have lost count of the calls that I have missed due to the screen and ringer issues. Sad knowing that the only guaranteed way that I have to reach people and have them reach me is through texting – it’s a crapshoot whether or not the phone will ring or allow me to accept actual phone-to-phone calls on daily basis. I have searched for upgrades and software support online as well, only to be told that I either have to reset my phone manually or I have to turn the phone off and let the battery reset for the rest to work. I am tired of pulling out the battery for a count!
