So far my Wing has worked great with one exception: I can not install any software because I am receiving an error message that the program does not have a trusted certificate. The program is Microsoft Reader, and I don’t know how a Microsoft product is not trusted on a WM6 device.

Has many great features, not to bulky for the amount of programs it has, pretty quick for the most part I definitely like it better than my old Sidekick.

This phone tends to answer incoming calls unintentionally and on occasion make calls unintentionally unless you make it a point to always use the lock feature. I really wish it recorded all of the times on saved incoming and outgoing text messages sometimes that info comes in handy. The volume could stand to be a little bit louder. No dropped calls, great reception.

Has many outstanding features but it is primarily supposed to be a phone and makes far too many arbitrary decisions on its own, like putting people on hold, then dialing someone random, etc. The screen is difficult to read if not well shaded.

Currently I have a Sidekick3. I want to upgrade to the Wing because it will play video clips, the camera zooms, and it has Wi-Fi. I really love my Sidekicks body but I wish it was smarter and did more. I will really miss the awesome keyboard on my sidekick. Not a lot of handhelds have the number keys atop the letter keys. Most are within letters which can sometimes be annoying. The wing is expensive so I hope it will be a good investment. I may even get insurance this time. As you know T-Mobile has a great “phone exchange program”. As long as you don’t crack the screen or get it wet they will send you a refurbished phone for free. I love T-Mobile however I wish they had towers in North Carolina. I can’t even get a phone number with an NC area code. I moved to NC from TX and was surprised not to be able to get a number from this state. T-Mobile is advertised on local stations here but my phone always roams on ATT/Cingular or Suncom. I tried to take an NC number to my T-Mobile account and it was denied! They should fix that!

My 14 days is up and I am stuck with this phone. I have had it replaced 2 times already because the touch screen has just totally stopped working. The phone is way too much money and not worth it. The camera takes lousy discolored pictures, the device is very clunky and not really cute and it takes 2 minutes just to make a general phone call which you hope it is dialing the correct person. It likes to random dial also. The internet is super slow and not always available. I wish I had known this prior to purchasing the phone.

Being a T-Mobile customer for nearly 4 years I was told by a T-Mobile Customer Service Rep. that this phone is like the IPhone. All I will say is that the touch screen is 75% Stylus and 25% touch by hand. The internet it VERY slow and you can’t download videos as promised. There is a 3 second lag when you rotate the phone. Again, they are comparing this to the IPhone so needless to say, I was very mislead. The cost is way overboard now that I think about it as this actually costs more than the IPhone. When I said I would cancel my contract, they said I would be warranted to pay the $200.00 early term fee. T-Mobile doesn’t seem to think that if I return the “Wing” which is $350.00, I would still be on top of the matter.

I have had my Wing for 3 months now and I am enjoying the ability to text quickly, use the voice command system, although my accent makes that tricky at times. I also enjoy the large screen; I can see a lot more than I could on my old phone and although the camera could have been a little better and the memory could have been bigger, I’m very happy with my Wing. I’d buy it again.

I’ve had the wing for one month, I am very dissatisfied. I paid $350.00 for this phone, the screen freezes after you take 2-3 pictures in a row, it calls people without you knowing about it, instead of it vibrating it makes this weird screeching noise, you can’t use the camera at times (you have to clear running programs), you can’t see what text is in the outbox, it changes ringtones on its own (you have to turn the phone completely off, to reset it), the internet is very slow and most of the time the T-Zone is unavailable. I wish I would have done more research before I purchased this phone. One of many lessons learned. I have not purchased insurance yet but I will as soon as possible I have a feeling this phone will have to be replaced.

There are two problems with my T-Mobile Wing. Everything else’s is as mentioned elsewhere.
One – I have set up an alpha numeric password to protect my device if it ever becomes lost/stolen.
However, when the device is locked and someone calls, all you need to do is click on the answer incoming call button followed by the call status button/the windows start button and the device unlocks itself without requesting a password. Big problem… Yes.
Two – The screen does not turn off while playing music, hence the battery dies fast. Really fast. Is there a patch or update for any of these problems? Still waiting for a response from Microsoft & T-Mobile.

The phone is okay, not what it’s cracked up to be… first of all it comes with NO memory… I can fit 3 songs on here that’s it, and there not even whole songs. The phone can run real slow at times. If you try and delete more than 5/6 messages at time you in for a real wait. It makes and answers calls VERY often if your phone it’s on dock… and for the past 3 days the internet hasn’t been working… what am I paying 20.00 a month for???????? Would I recommend the phone, yes? Do I like it still has works that need to be worked out, yrs.

The phone is okay. I expected more from t-mobile. It suits most of my needs. I wish it could support a 3gnetwork. The phone has a small amount of memory, which my contacts take up most of that. I have a 2 GB memory card so that helps. I suggest that you purchase one. I am still learning all of the tricks.and overtime I will be satisfied. The windows mobile is a blast. The internet is almost as fast as DSL. So that’s a plus. I feel real comfortable with it even it’s though it’s big as a digital camera.

First off you shouldn’t be driving with it in your hands so a hand free is best too .Come on people think and wear a headset.

It almost had me sold, but I can’t find any mention of a music player. I need my music to keep me alert and entertained. I wouldn’t expect it except that everyone else is offering it, including my last phone, Sprint’s Q phone which sucks so badly, I’m paying the $200 penalty to get something more dependable, with more bars.

I bought this phone last summer. It took a little getting used to but once I did, it was wonderful. I love the touch screen; I do not like the size. It very bulky and when you talk on the phone, because of the touch screen, I ended up hanging up on people or dialing #’s in their ears! The original memory SUX! The music player wouldn’t hold more than 2.5 songs. Good part is you can buy a 1 GB memory card for about $25 or an 8 GB card for about $80. I don’t want to spend that much after spending $350 on the phone. I’m switching to Verizon and buying the Motorola Moto Q. It basically is the same as this phone, without the touch screen. I can live without that and the Moto 9 is only $79 with all the rebates! Plus T-Mobile doesn’t have the best coverage in my area compared to Verizon. All around, this phone isn’t bad though, maybe I’ll sell it on EBay!

I’ve had my T-Mobile Wing for about 2 months now. I do agree with a lot of other people’s diagnosis. It does randomly call people without you knowing it so the unlock feature has to be used most of the time. I love the fact that the Stylus comes with it and you’re not smudging your phone up with continuous finger prints (as the IPhone is whole-heartedly touch screen). The keyboard is amazing and I upgraded from a Blackberry Pearl 8100 (which is too small for anyone). I am disappointed like a lot of other people with not having the 3G network. I live in the Chicago-land area and I rarely am able to get my T-Zones to work (T-mobile says that I’m not in a good coverage area), uh come on T-mobile its CHICAGO! I notice sometimes when you go to reply to a text you can hit the touch screen to fast and end up sending a lot of blank text messages. If you have unlimited messaging it’s fine, but if not those can add up really fast. Wi-Fi is amazing because most public places nowadays have it and you can hop on in an instance!! Overall it’s a great phone, but for the price it could be enhanced. I’m just waiting for the new phones to come out and do a trade-in!

The wing has windows media player in it so it does have music on it. The memory is a problem but if you have a memory card it won’t be much of a problem. Save your contacts on your SIM card and they won’t use up the phone’s memory. And you can turn off all of the sounds and lower the volume. IT is actually a pretty good phone and I think I addressed any problems anyone might have with the phone.

I had this phone for about 4 months now and love it. The size is great compared to the vcr size of the sidekick. If you need more memory than you can always get a memory card. This phone is like a computer that fits into your pocket. Don’t complain about a touch screen calling random paople if you wanted to have a touch screen phone. Use the lock key. Next time do not purchase an expensive phone in haste than complain about the product.

I had this phone since Aug 07 and suffered through the slugishness of this horrible phone. last month it finally was replaced because the screen turned white after being locked and was rendered useless. when I did get the first unlock to work, the touch screen was not there!!! I finally got T-Mobile to agree to replace it with a new one, same model, and now the start menu wigs out on me, locks the volume, and triggers the alignment screen when the center button is pushed. AND I HAVE KEPT THE PHONE AT ITS SIMPLEST BORING CONFIGURATION!!! T-mobile wants to replace the phone with… guess… the same phone. I would settle for a prepaid phone from Walmart and transfer the Sim card to finish this contract. Piece of crap phone.
