Pre-paid carrier Cricket Wireless ups their game with the inclusion of the HTC One SV, an Android smartphone with serious style.
Cricket is showing off three of their newest phones at CES this year, including a waterproof model from Kyocera. However, the cream of the crop is undoubtedly the HTC One SV, a 4.3-inch Jelly Bean phone that has some of the same design language as the One X and the Windows Phone 8X. It should give some competition to the Galaxy S3.
The Kyocera Hydro is a solid phone, though it’s disappointing to see it still on Gingerbread and not Ice Cream Sandwich at least. The water resistance makes up for that a little. Finally, there’s the Alcatel One Touch, another Gingerbread phone. It’s not a stand-out device, but should make for a nice, basic phone for consumers on a budget.
