The highlight of Sharp's CES 2012 booth was its 85-inch LCD with 8K resolution, double what most of its competitors are showing off.
Sure, 4K may still be years away and around the corner, but Sharp has already turned the next corner at CES 2012 with its 85-inch 8K LCD. The prototype towered over every other display in Sharp’s booth and drew the biggest crowds as showgoers flocked to drink in the seemingly limitless detail in the demonstration videos, which had to be shot on special cameras.
