Sharp snips the power cord on TVs with Freestyle LCDs at CES 2012

Have you ever had the compulsion to pick up your TV and carry it outside, only to be stifled by the pesky power cord in back and lack of handles? Us either, but that doesn’t make Sharp’s Freestyle LCDs from being any less novel. With handles, ultra-thin panels and self-contained designs, you can pick these displays up and carry them wherever you need to go. The 20-inch model contains a large enough battery for extended viewing away from power outlets, and the larger models have small reserve batteries so you don’t have to turn them off when carrying them from outlet to outlet. Your garage, TV, and bathroom will never have to be CNN-free again.
