The above video of Sony’s Xperia S cell phone is Sony’s B-roll of detail shots of the new phone. There isn’t any sound or details in the video save the close ups of the phone and seeing it work a bit.
Briefly, the phone will be available for AT&T. It features a 4.3-inch screen and HSPA+ capability instead of LTE. Despite some of its lackluster specs Sony’s phone still looks great in its super-slim design and sturdy aluminum body. The clear, glass-like stripe toward the bottom is particularly fascinating to look at.
The phone will run Android 2.3 until Sony updates it with an Android 4.0 update. Eventually, Playstation titles will be available on it as well via Sony’s Playstation certification.
