The wheel is absolutely fine. Only the most feeble and weak digits would have issues with this.
I don’t understand how you can accidentally press the left mouse button on this or the G9. How? Surely this reviewer, Michael Brown, is new to these mouse gadgets.
While maybe not a strong point of the G9x, the side buttons are pretty much exactly where they should be.
Here’s a pro tip, when reviewing a mouse, don’t use your feet.

I’ve been playing alot of fps with the g9x and previously, the g9 and never have I once “mis clicked” the left mouse button. The reviewer must have extremely weak fingers or is a bit too excited when immersed in the fps environment. The problem does not lie in the mouse but within the reviewer.
Quote – “We found the left top button to be even more hypersensitive”
What the hell is left top button? Pretty sure I don’t fire with the left middle button nor the left bottom button lol.
Quote – “We have the exact opposite complaint about the button in the scroll wheel; it offers much too much resistance.”
Absolutely false, I have no idea where the review got that from, he also then went on to write
Quote – “The scroll wheel can spin smoothly or you can push a button on the bottom of the mouse to engage a set of micro gears that provide tactile feedback.”
o.O
Finally, the side buttons are fine, they are easily accessible with the thumbs, the reviewer must only have like 2 fingers and wanted to use the side buttons with his index finger.
Overall, it is a great mouse which is highly customizable by the user. It is very responsive and suitable most people unless you are a 300 year old person with only two fingers and likes to “accidentally” tap the left click whenever they move the mouse in any direction hahaha.

I just got this mouse, the only downside I should say is the right side cuts too much, it doesn’t feel very comfortable with my forth and little finger. Especially when I lift it up, didn’t fit my hand shape compared with my IE3.0.
The good thing I really need to mention is the anti-slippery shell, it’s just a considerable design.

Yeah, really? Well, with a MMB like that I’m not sure what superpower you’d have to posses to use it! No mouse I know requires a slam-dunk to even get a response! Moreover it’s noisy like hell. And as icing on the cake we have the side-scroll function – come on!! Give the little button a rest. There plenty of space – put some more buttons!
Nevertheless, In all other regards I agree the mouse is a great piece of work. But the MMB – redo and get it right, please!!
