I’ve bought one 1 week ago, and i’m in love with it ;)..
It feels soo good in your hand, and the receiver is so small you don’t have to take it out of the laptop after use.
My advise: BUY IT, BUY IT, BUY IT!

I just got it and it’s the perfect match with my new Sony VAIO TZ. Small & tiny with style! Compare with the old optical mouse. It works excellent with the new laser technology. Very smooth and with lots of functions to play with.

Especially if you want to use its full functionality buttons the signal will be very bad and you won’t have a continuous move of the cursor even the mouse buttons won’t work.
It drives me crazy.

I love the shape, browser back and forward buttons, smooth scroll wheel and insane tiny USB receiver. Comes in a great package with carrying case.
Only complaint, you can’t program the wheel button.

Sloppy horizontal scrolling? Hardly, at least not from my vantage. I thought it quite smooth, no complaints. While it doesn’t seem to come with Smartshift technology, which automatically selects ratcheted (Precision) or Free Spin modes according to each application — shifting modes with a single click of the scroll wheel is no problem at all. And the Free Spin mode – that has me completely spoiled. I’ll never go back to ratcheted scrolling again.
The mouse design is solidly designed, and truly beautiful, as well as comfortable, but that tiny USB receiver is, hands down, the best feature of all for me. It sticks out about a 1/4 of an inch, and you hardly know it’s there. I just leave it plugged in at all times. No muss, no fuss, no plugging and unplugging, you just open your notebook, pull out your mouse, and you’re good to go. Can’t do that with any other USB mouse, cordless or otherwise.
In short, this mouse is a top of the line dream, a total pleasure to own and use.

I had high hopes for a 50 Euro mouse. The accuracy is however really bad and inferior to most cheap cord-mice I have used in the past.
I retrospect I would rather have paid some more and get a full-fledged gamer cordless mouse instead. Now I often find myself using the touchpad instead of the mouse.

Having tried and used many mice in my architectural office, the VX Nano stands out as pure genius. Between the small receiver, excellent build quality and mode-switching scroll wheel, this mouse is the bomb for anyone looking for the best mouse for a laptop.

The VX Nano mouse is the best laser mouse in the market today. From a super-small receiver(almost next to none) to the programmable buttons: Two-function vertical scroll wheel, a left and right scroll function, a dedicated search button, and two additional, programmable buttons, what more can you ask for? Everything that any laser mouse can offer is already offered by the VX Nano range of Logitech.

The only negative point I can give this mouse is that there is no middle-click on the wheel.
I liked it so much that I ended up buying one for home and one for the office as well. Weight, size and precision are perfect.

First, a correction to the official review, specifically the following part:
“Logitech abandoned the clickity-notchity feel of earlier scroll wheels, making the VX Nano scroll wheel feel silky smooth when scrolling back and forth.”
Actually, they didn’t. The scroll wheel can be switched between two modes – stepped (like most mice have) and smooth. The latter also has very low friction and the wheel can spin freely for about 10 seconds, making scrolling through long documents a lot easier. Push the wheel down all the way (past what would be the middle click) to switch between the modes.
Overall, the mouse is very nice. The small receiver is convenient, and definitely an improvement over the normal receivers. That you can store it inside the mouse is icing on the cake. However, at least on my notebook (HP 6715b) it still sticks out enough to warrant removing it when travelling.
The design is nice and slick without being too flashy. The mouse is very ergonomic, and the buttons have good tactile feedback. The back/forward buttons are rather small and close to each other, so it can take some aiming to hit the correct one, but I’m sure it’s just a matter of practice.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with the VX Nano. It’s definitely a top choice for notebook users.

I’ve had wireless mice before, but always hated the big receiver sticking out of my laptops. The USP for the nano is the tiny receiver. I leave mine permanently plugged into a USB port on the laptop.
Range is fantastic! When watching movies on my laptop whilst plugged into my plasma TV I can use this mouse as a ‘remote control’ for VLC / media player from about 4 meters away (probably further, but then I’d be outside!).
It’s also possible with the software to set up shortcuts for specific applications: for example when in media player I’ve set scroll up to pause, scroll down to play, up-arrow to volume + etc.
Battery life seems good and it uses easy to find AAA’s. The battery meter in the software seems ok.
Accuracy, clicking etc are great. Scrolling can change from the click click type to smooth type by pressing the wheel past the normal click position.
Overall it’s great. The super small receiver alone makes it worth the ã32 I paid on Amazon (incl delivery). I liked it so much I got another one this week for my work laptop.
