Of the products that Acer revealed in New York today, the Iconia A1 tablet is the most traditionally recognizable of the bunch. Aimed squarely at the iPad Mini, and potentially, the Nexus 7, the 8-inch Android slate stands out because of it’s impressively low price. With a launch price of $170 for the 16 GB version of the tablet, Acer is looking to take Apple’s Mini head-on.
Does it hold up? We won’t know for sure until we get it in for a full review, but we did get a chance to play with it at Acer’s event.
