  1. Sujai at 6:43am 14th July 2005 In the case of the Acer TM 3002, WXGA is 1280 x 800
  2. Bryan MacDonald at 1:13pm 21st May 2005 I actually think most laptops that claim WXGA are 1280x768.
  3. DigitalTrends Staff at 6:47pm 20th May 2005 Sorry guys, I think this was sent to us too soon. There was no mention of the CPU speed and I did not hear back from their Public Relations department.

It looks like the specs and information is up on their website now though:

    1.73Ghz. Hope that help.
  4. Joey Bigtimes at 3:27pm 20th May 2005 WXGA is 1366x768
    VGA is 640x480
    XGA is 1024x768
    SVGA is 1280x1024
    UXGA is 1600x1200

    All from memory.

Also, the Mhz or Ghz "specification" is a myth which has nothing to do with actual computing power, so know what you're talking about before you shoot off your mouth, kiddo.
  5. jfb3 at 11:45am 20th May 2005 Does anyone care what chipset is on the thing? (Unless you're planning on loading linux.)

What I want to know is how fast it is.

Is it 900 MHz, 3 GHz ,or what?

Instead of ~just~ reprinting a corporate press release how about a little information to go along with it.

And instead of WXGA (I defy anyone to remember what all the acronyms are for screen resolutions) just state the resolution. Is that 1200x10xx, 1600x1200, what?
