Altec Lansing XA3051 speaker system review

Altec Lansing XA3051 speaker system falls a little short as Tweaknews puts it through the rounds.

Quote from the review:

“Although not a true 5.1 surround speaker system, it definitely has its advantages. For one, you don’t need a 6 channel surround sound card to use this on your computer if you go and pick up an adapter, and this could save you a quite a bit of money.”

Our take: Altec Lansing seems to be falling off the map lately with some poor products and little in the way of marketing efforts. Their XA3051 speaker system is not only geared towards computer users, but console video gamers as well. Overall their system seems to fall a little short with Tweaknews.
