I own a Kindle 2 and really love it…the size is perfect for me and touch screen would not be that helpful…I have also used the iPad iBooks which is pretty nice with the virtual bookshelf, but then the Kindle app for the iPad makes bookreading that much better with page turning and the new touch dictionary that should be coming on with an upgrade soon. Still like the availability of Amazon ebooks and their customer service cannot be underrated for professionalism and availability. I will using the Kindle app on my iPad and my Kindle for PC..

The Kindle has been in need of a color screen because this will open it up to actually capture some of the huge textbook industry. I believe strongly that students would leap at the opportunity to purchase textbooks on the Kindle. The multi-touch also looks cool, although in my opinion, it is not as necessary.
