AOL’s Singingfish Hooks New Video Feeds

America Online's multimedia search engine property announces deals to feature video content from more than 13 new partners.

America Online is adding some new video content to its Singingfish video and audio search engine, the online portal announced today. Specifically, AOL said they signed agreements for optimized video contents from a variety of new partners, including AtomFilms, Big-Boys.com, CBSNews.com, CNN, Healthology, Inc., Hollywood.com, IFILM, Like Television, ManiaTV.com, MarketWatch from Dow Jones & Company, The One Network, ROO Media and TotalVid.

The new partners, which join the Singingfish ranks with MSNBC, NPR, Reuters and others, will provide these feeds across a wide array of categories, including entertainment, finance, health, news and sports. All of these feeds join the millions of free multimedia files which can be found through the Singingfish search engine, AolSearch.com and Singingfish’s network of search properties.

“With the growing amount of video content available freely on the Web, consumers rely daily on our leading Singingfish search platform to discover new and interesting content,” said Karen Howe, Vice President and General Manager of Singingfish. “The different video genres that these partners represent – from entertainment, news and sports to education, films and animation – add even greater depth and variety to our ever-increasing index, helping us to deliver more meaningful and relevant search results.”
