Apple has the price of the 20-inch model to $799 and the 23-inch HD model to just $1,499.

In addition, Apple’s new 2.7 GHz Power Mac G5s and 1.67 GHz 17-inch PowerBooks now feature built-in support to directly drive Apple’s 30-inch Cinema HD Display, saving customers hundreds of dollars.

  1. James at 3:14pm 27th April 2005 Anandtech has a great article that compares the Apple 20" Cinema display to the Dell UltraSync 2005FPW 20" monitor. Both displays use the same LG.Philips LCD panel yet the Dell can be had for as low as $350 on sale. Compare that to $799 and thats money in your pocket. Of course the Apple has that cool metal frame though, I prefer its look to the Dell. But I would likely not pay the difference.

  2. James at 11:37am 27th April 2005 Thats a great deal for their 23" display. I think that is the same price as the HP L2335 which uses the same LG.Philips panel as the Apple Cinema display.
