While the high end graphics cards give us all something to talk about, the volume of sales of the low end boards is what keeps the graphics vendors ticking over.

“Asus have chosen a minimal approach for the board layout, which makes a pleasant change from having to fight with a graphics card when trying to fit it inside a snug case. Other than this, there is nothing to make the design stand out particularly; for example, the chip cooling system consists of a rather poorly fitting passive heatsink. On the plus side though, the board does offer 3 outputs – VGA, S-video and composite.”
