Korean manufacturer BeAll Developers has announced new DVD-R/+R media that can store up to 4.85GB of data, .15GB more than traditional DVD media.
Korean DVD media manufacturer BeAll Developers Inc. has announced their Extreme Extended 4.85GB DVD-R media. The new media offers an additional 0.15 GB of storage capacity compared to the standard 4.7GB discs widely available and in use.
According to the company, the product has been over a year in development and faced tough technical barriers. In a press release, BeAll says they have been able to “successfully keep both stability and compatibility rock solid.”
