BenQ Reduces Prices On LCD Monitors

BenQ is lowering the prices on its LCD monitor models, in hopes of reducing its overflowing stock.

BenQ, Taiwan’s leading vendor of LCD displays, announced yesterday that it was slashing prices on its LCD monitors by 15 to 20 percent, in order to reduce its warehouse stocks.

According to a report in the Taipei Times, BenQ has a stock accumulation of nearly 200,000 LCDs due to lower than expected Q2 demand.
