Logitech Z-5, $73.99 – $89.99 (buy it now)
Logitech’s Z-5 is all about convenience. Its USB connectivity does away with the need for complex sound card hookups, and lets you effortlessly move the system from PC to laptop and back again. The sophisticated wireless remote nullifies the need for extra cables and keeps all the controls literally in hand, and the lack of a power brick or power cord also simplifies the entire setup.
But there’s more to the Z-5 than ease of use. Unlike the rest of the systems in this wrap-up, the Z-5 features drivers at the front and at the rear of each satellite, an array that allows them to approach true omnidirectional sound. What does omnidirectional sound do for you? It lends a sense of spaciousness – particularly if they’re positioned in the middle of a room – that you won’t find in many speakers under the $100 mark. There’s no floorboard-rattling bass here, nor is there a ton of power, but we think the perks and the creature comforts – not to mention the understated styling – makes the Z-5 a worthy contender for your hard-earned dollars.

Smart phones aren't worth using on a continual basis without 3G so I gotta agree with Verizon on this one. So Verizon not showing non-3G coverage is fine since it doesnt really matter that much......
