Cell launches Dimension 2400 at $499

Desktop computer customers can get an outstanding new combination of performance, flexibility and value from the new Dell Dimension 2400, introduced worldwide today.

Customers can buy complete Dimension 2400 systems, with a 17-inch (16-inch viewable) CRT monitor and speakers, starting at $499. This price includes basic business productivity applications through WordPerfect^®  Productivity Pack and six months Internet access. Dimension 2400 customers receive software to manage a digital music collection and organize and edit digital photos. The systems also include security software that features a 90-day anti-virus subscription.
