CES 2006 Profile: Otter Products

Otter Products' newest offering is a rugged, waterproof case line targeted towards laptop users.

Rugged case manufacturer Otter Products, best known for their waterproof iPod cases, came to CES 2006 with several recently released items and one new product. The newest case announced focuses on bringing rugged protection to laptop computers.

The OttberBox Notebook Case is designed to provide water, dust and drop protection to laptops. Three different case configurations exist to accommodate different size notebook computers. Each case sports a polypropylene shell, secure latches, a waterproof seal, carrying handle and shoulder strap, internal shock-absorbing bumpers and a quick release strap. The first cases should be available in February.
