Remember that Comcast is owned by, and has close relationships, with media publishing companies. This move is two part. Primarily they are trying to protect themselves from litigation and why should they enable people to pirate media to which they hold the IP rights? It’s not as if P2P is anything new or wasn’t around when they started providing Internet service to the public.
