CoolIT Chills Computers Even Better Now

CoolIT offers up predictive cooling to help head off computer core meltdowns while overclocking.

CoolIT Systems today unveiled at CES some cool advanced liquid cooling solutions. The MTEC Contol Center module, which uses predicitive cooling technology to to anticipate heat production from the CPU and adjust cooling power accordingly, is one of those. It consists of a USB connected control board that allows full software interaction to dynamically control the cooling power and fan speeds of nearly any MTEC Chilling solution depending on the preferences of the end user.

One of several CoolIT Systems using this technology is  the new Boreas 12-TEC (Thermoelectric Cooler) chiller. This all-in-one solution applies CoolIT’s MTEC technology to chill the CPU, GPU, and chipsets allowing for reported better levels of overclocking performance. The Boreas is currently featured in systems from MAINGEAR and Biohazard.

“These new offerings from CoolIT clearly demonstrate our deep commitment to providing the computing industry all necessary thermal management technology. Our offerings now include both software and hardware cooling integration to achieve the highest possible level of performance and reliability from their computer,” said Geoff Lyon, CEO of CoolIT Systems. “The MTEC Control Center module with Predictive Cooling and the powerful new Boreas 12-TEC Chiller are just two more examples of technology advancements that are quickly establishing CoolIT as the market leader in computer cooling technology.”
