Dell Cuts Down On Netbook Line

Dell has announced it will stop production of its 12 inch Mini Netbook to focus on a smaller model.
A 12” laptop is between a netbook and a notebook, not quite one thing or another. That, at least, seems to be Dell’s thinking.
The company has announced it’s going to stop production of its 12” Mini netbook, letting notebooks fill the void, and focus instead on the 10” Mini netbook.
Dell corporate blogger Lionel Menchaca wrote:
"For a lot of customers, 10-inch displays are the sweet spot for netbooks."
"Portability is one of the key points for netbook customers. Larger notebooks require a little more horsepower to be really useful."
