Dell Offers Up New Laser Printers

New 1710 series includes features on certain models such as integrated networking, 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution and more.

Dell today rolled out two new monochrome laser printers which they say offer fast performance in a small form factor. The 1710 ($199) and 1710n ($299) areboth available now.   Both printers, Dell said, have speeds of up to 27 pages per minute and up to 2,400 image quality with 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. They also feature a up to 15,000-pagemonthly duty cycle, USB and parallel port interfaces, an optional 550-sheet paper drawer, an optional memory upgrade and dimensional measurements of 15.59” x 13.9” x 9.72”.  The 1710n, in addition to the features mentioned, also offers integrated networking for sharing over a wired network. It, as well as the 1710, can be enabled for wireless sharing as well with anoptional wireless printer adapter.

  1. robert Black at 12:26pm 7th October 2005 BE VERY CAREFUL when purchasing a printer from Dell, I have a friend who bought a Dell ( Lexmark ) printer and CANNOT get ink cartridges anywhere except from DELL, which I find hard to believe, but if it's true then Check with Dell before buying one.
    If I'm wrong I apologize.
