		<description>Sadly they aren&#039;t carbon &#039;neutral&#039;.  They are less polluting, but they are still polluting.  The &#039;neutral&#039; implies that there is a reduction going on to offset their continuing emmisions.  Green energy is not a reduction just a reduction in more emissions.&lt;br /&gt;

What you almost never hear about is actions to actually reduce the amount of carbon already in the atmosphere.  We only talk about reducing our emissions, but still emitting.  Given the climate disaster that&#039;s coming it won&#039;t be enough, we need to actually pull carbon out of the atmosphere.  Carbon sequestration is likewise only sequestering carbon that would have been put into the atmosphere; it&#039;s not carbon reducing either.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Still it&#039;s a good start, but label it what it is...more environmentally &#039;friendly&#039; but not &#039;neutral&#039;.&lt;br /&gt;
