Dells New OptiPlex Systems Use BTX Design

The company's new OptiPlex GX520 and GX620 systems use Intel's BTW formfactor design to keep the systems nice and cool.

Both the OptiPlex GX520 and the OptiPlex GX620 are based on the Intel 945G chipset which means the systems can run the new 64-bit Intel processors. The more expensive OptiPlex GX620 has an option to come with dual-core processors and can come available with the new Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 operating system preinstalled. Other differences between the two systems include optional 128MB or 256MB ATI Radeon video cards on the GX620 compared to the integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphics chip.

Both systems will use the new BTX form factor designed by Intel to provide a cooler and more reliable system.
