At its annual users’ conference in Las Vegas, eBay CEO Meg Whitman announced that the online auction company signed up its 200 millionth member on Saturday, June 10, making the membership of eBay larger than the populations of all but the four most-crowded nations on earth: China, India, the U.S., and Indonesia. The figure would be slightly higher if it included memberships of other eBay properties like Shopping.com, Rent.com, and online classified sites
