HP iPAQ h2210 review
The new iPAQs all feature the recently unveiled Pocket PC 2003 operating system from Microsoft. Let's take a look at how the h2210 fares.
Quote from Whining Dog review:
“The HP iPAQ h2210 is one of the best Pocket PC based PDAs out there today. It strikes a balance in delivering speed, portability, and expansion capabilities at a reasonable price. Though you will not find high end capabilities such as a biometric reader or a Wi-Fi antenna, you will get a sporty 400MHz Intel XScale processor, dual CF and SD card support and Bluetooth connectivity all for a reasonable price. The h2210 has a clean exterior design and doesn’t try to overload the user with too many capabilities. You’ll be able to check your email, read your notes, or read a Word document while at the same time listening to your favorite MP3 song. Though the Dell Axim is still a cheaper alternative to the HP iPAQ h2210, the h2210 is a work of a product line that has much more experience in the Pocket PC scene. “
Our take: I am not really sure how HP has more experience in the PDA market than Dell despite selling PDA’s for a longer period of time. Chances are that Dell doesn’t even manufacturer their own PDA’s so it doesn’t matter. The iPAQ h2210 looks like a sweet little PDA nonetheless. Bluetooth connectivity is certainly cool!
