HP To Use SiS Chipsets In AMD64 Systems

SiS has announced that HP will build new consumer desktop PCs based on the AMD64 platform and SiS' chipsets.

Silicon Integrated Systems Corp. (SiS) today announced its SiS760 and SiS964 core logic chipsets will be used within the AMD64 platform design as part of select HP consumer desktop PCs.

The HP consumer desktops based on SiS760 will target the mainstream and value PC users of the AMD K8 market segment.
