Imation Unveils Clip Flash Drive Design

The USB 2.0 Clip Flash Drive is enclosed in a protective shell and sports a carabineer clip for attachment to items like belt loops and backpacks.

Imation, a developer of flash storage media products, today announced a new carabineer clip design of flash drives. The new Clip Flash Drive range in capacity sizes from 256MB to 2GB, are priced from $29.99 to $119.99 and are available now.

The Clip Flash Drive, said Imation, is USB 2.0 compatible and encased in a tough rubberized shell for protection. The drive itself is removable from the case so that it can fit into tight USB slots. A carabineer clip attaches the drive case to items like backpacks and belt loops so it is more easily accessible.

Other features of the Clip Flash Drive include multiple color choices and password protection.
