InterVideo Launches New DVD Copy 3

Studio 123's Dvd X Copy may be gone, but Intervideo is hoping to achieve the same success by introducing their DVD Copy 3 which allows you to make duplicates of DVD movies.

Providing users with up to 25 percent faster duplication, DVD Copy 3 replicates unencrypted DVDs, VCDs and SVCDs with no loss of quality, content or features. DVD Copy 3 continues its excellence by integrating InterVideo’s superior codec, which has demonstrated in the past, performance for quickly delivering true, high-quality copies. Incorporated with DVD Copy 3, is InterVideo’s innovative UniPass technology that directly copies from the source to the CD/DVD without re-rendering and buffering, so copying time can be dramatically reduce.

DVD Copy 3 is a complete CD/DVD burning software package with improved features ideal for novices and professionals alike. With as few as three clicks, users are on their way to creating their own CD/DVD. Consumers simply select the source; choose the broad compatibility media destination (CD-R/RW, DVD+/-R/RW/-RAM disc or hard drive) and the video output format (DVD, VCD, SVCD, MPEG 4 CD, Windows Media Video(R) (WMV) CD, DivX(R), or M-DVD). Enhanced options offer customized discs by allowing individuals to remove unwanted chapters, subtitles, and audio streams to personalize their DVD. Additionally, users don’t have to worry if their file will fit, with the Auto-Fit feature, it’s designed to adjust the bit rate so users can fit their home made video onto a single CD. Included is a user-friendly interface that provides all the features users need on one screen to make their CD/DVD in just a few quick simple steps.

Exclusively available on DVD Copy 3 is the unique capability of copying DVD to various output formats including DivX CD, MPEG-4CD, and WMV files. This includes re-authoring support by blending and merging audio with sub pictures together. In addition, DVD Copy 3 offers users the ability to merge multi VCD/SVCD/DivX to either one blank single layer or double layer DVD so all memorable events such as birthdays or graduations can be stored onto one disc.

The latest version of DVD Copy 3 are enhanced with the following new features:

— DVD Clone – A unique feature for directly duplicating DVD/VCD/SVCD/VR discs to DVD/VCD/SVCD/WMV/MPEG-4/VR discs. Also included are copying abilities with Multi-Sub Titles which allow users to choose several subtitles so they have more language preferences, Adjust Bit-rate setting by title and Rip a DVD soundtrack onto audio CDs so users can have their personal copy of audio and sound from a DVD without copying the video contentsMerge DVD/VCD/SVCD- Users have the flexibility to combine various formats onto one disc for their viewing enjoymentVideo Recording Import – Enables users to directly capture video clips from camcorders and burn them onto a disc

— TV System Setting – Consumers now have the ability to choose the DVD format setting from NTSC for US and Japan title to the PAL format for China and Europe. Users can change one of the TV systems of an existing DVD to another TV system

— Video-Record Format Support: Users can copy VR disc to VR disc/DVD/VCD/SVCD/MPEG4/WMV

Pricing, Availability

InterVideo DVD Copy 3 is available at InterVideo’s web site, www.intervideo.com and through Japan retail outlets. Compatible with Windows(R) 2000 and XP systems, the suggested list prices are $49.95 USD for the Gold version and $79.95 USD for the full Platinum version.
